Obituary

Howard T. Cohen, age 80, beloved husband and best friend of Ruth, nee Urist, for 54 wonderful years; loving father of Alisa (Scott) Novoselsky, Ilene Cohen Sterner and Sherry (Jay) Kravitz; devoted Papa of Carly and Nicole Novoselsky; cherished brother of Bobbi (Sonny) Karoff; adored uncle of Pam (Doug) Harman, Michael (Amanda) Karoff and Andrea (Greg) Slocum. Howie was the dedicated owner of Four Cohns Shoes, a family run business for over 100 years. He took great pride in getting to know all of his customers on a first name basis. Chapel service Sunday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to B’nai B’rith Sports Lodge Scholarship and the National Brain Tumor Society.
